As you can see by my article from Friday, I went to New Mexico to visit my mom. I drove by myself, I left on Saturday at about 11am and drove on the new part of the 210 that connects to the 15 and then to the 40....
My mom's new condo is at the base of the Sandia Mountains:
pretty aren't they? Sandia means watermelon in Spanish. They sort of look like a big slick of watermelon when the sun is setting.
I drove out to see her and to bring her some of her things from her husband's house in Woodland Hills.
The drive was pretty long but I drove fast and it was lot's of fun. I brought enough music to not have to listen to anything twice.
